And so it begins...
After a long, stressful week at work and homeschooling, I was looking to the weekend off, but after hearing that the governor's "shelter in place" order would begin at 5pm today, I decided to go into work and wrap up as much as I could. I went in about 10, and two coworkers with similar ideas wandered in shortly after me. We all made sure to keep our distance, etc. but it was sure nice to visit with them!
I took a short break to run to the post office in the hope that the last two packages I mailed from Anchorage would be there. Alas, there was no sign of them.
However, my new dress from wool& arrived! Exciting! I am going to start my 100 day challenge (I'll wear the dress for 100 days straight) tomorrow, which will also be the first full day of the curfew.
I plan for this blog to be a daily account of my life during both the challenge and the...incarceration may be too strong a word!
The name of the blog came from a Dick Francis novel, and can be translated "I did my best."
Upon arriving home after a very long day at work, I immediately headed out to walk the doggies.
I love this time of year with the long daylight and snow. It's great to be outside!
