Monday: a very quiet day...the first of many?
I now know why animals in zoos tread the same path over and over and over again. Yikes!
Worked with M (my middle schooler) on lessons. Went for a walk with the dogs. Did some laundry. Worked on a daily schedule for the above-mentioned child. Made dinner. Went for another walk, this time with the dogs and C, my co-walker. Yes, I'm wearing the same dress as it's Day 2 off the 100 day challenge. It's also freezing out, about 10°.
H and T discussed projects to accomplish around the house. They hung up a pegboard for my backpack and walking poles. I'm very appreciative.
After dinner I scrolled though an online clothing store checking out the latest fashions I'll never wear. The news was on, and a co-worker was featured in a segment on schoolteachers during the quarantine. Wow! That's cool!

Stuggled with Zoom in an attempt to have a practice meeting with my sister. With T's help, I was able to get the video part of the meeting but apparently my laptop doesn't have a microphone so I had to call her and talk over the phone. Kind of annoying.
Texted a few friends and relations. Heard from a cousin who is a nurse back east that he and his wife, also a nurse, were let go with only 24 hours notice. I was shocked; according to the media, medical professionals are in short supply. He said layoffs are happening all over the country. What a curious world we live in.
Watched a bit of "The Voice." I'm not much of a tv watcher, so I soon lost interest and wandered off. Hung some wet laundry up to dry. Came back into the room to find the rest of my family watching Spongebob. It must be time to sit down, put my feet up, and enjoy a Moscow Mule!
