Tuesday in Easter Week
This is the day the Lord has made:
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
-Psalm 117
Started school earlier than usual as it was raining out and there were no eager skiers. T had the day off. He and H checked out a snow machine that was advertised for sale. Although the season is over, he's contemplating buying it as it seems like a good deal.
I went in to work for a few hours. I unexpectedly met a coworker there, and instead of working on the project I'd planned on, we made a video about the school's Mock Caldecott contest. It was ad lib, we had no script, but it turned out fine. VP uploaded it and will put it on Facebook on Thursday. (Come to find out the contest winner was already announced! Oh well.)
Stopped at the bank drive-through to deposit a check. Wore a mask. It felt weird.
Also wore it to the post office. About 1/2 of the people I saw out and about were wearing masks. So maybe not so weird. Mailed off tax payment. Ouch. But picked up my Lego order. Happy!
Lots of folks walking and riding bikes in spite of the rain. Guess everyone is going stir-crazy!
I went out for a walk twice today. The first time with T and my legs were stretched to keep up with him! The rain had stopped but the road was muddy. I went out again a bit later with C and although it wasn't raining, it was cold and damp.
Day 17 of wearing my dress.
The lads worked on the puzzle while I was at work. I'm not especially fond of icecream, but I had some for dessert. I blame the puzzle!
We also finished our game of Minifigure Madness. Heroic Knight beat out Shark Guy on my form!
My sister emailed me. We're not close, so it was nice to hear from her. I wrote her back a long, rambling letter. So strange to think the world has just stopped. Just stopped. It doesn't seem real.
