Ascension Thursday
Orders received...mostly. Still no coffee!!!
Received my replacement dress from Wool& in a completely different style. I like it! Heavier material than the other dress, an A-line, and a lot shorter.
Also received some of the items I ordered from Boden. Annoying that four of the items say "final sale" on the receipt but not on the website or the order form. Boden clothes are a mixed bag: either they're spectacular or meh with a weird fit. In this box there are two ❤ items, two yuck items, and the rest ok but something slightly off.
Rained all day. Pretty steady, not like the past few days. Hope we get a bit of sunshine so my starts don't get waterlogged.
School with M in the morning. He finished his Irish history book!
Went in to work at quarter to 12. My coworker D had already moved the counter for me. I pushed it out about an inch, otherwise, perfect. So wonderful to have helpful coworkers!
Went to the janitor's retirement "party." We all stood outside his house in the rain and the principal and superintendent presented him with retirement gifts. Really good turnout despite the rain; he deserved the big crowd! He has a gorgeous view of the bay from his house, lucky guy!
Back at the school I finished with a biography series, then emptied out another counter drawer to keep my pens and supplies in. Had a nice visit with book club colleague. Got a few magnets to send out. Headed home about 2:30.
The Virus policies are stressing us out. I understand the concept of quarantining, but seems like not everyone does. I'm torn between staying at home all summer or visiting Indiana. Like, really torn. Would it be worth the hassle? Yet, who knows what the fall will bring.
Finished putting everything back on the shelves in The Virus room. Have a box of random office supplies to bring to school. We have way too much that we haven't used in 15 years. Also had T and M go through the books I weeded.
No walk with C today. Raining too hard. Made dinner with ground turkey (it was on sale). Tasted like cat food.
