On the Feast of Saint Boniface

True.

Early morning walk with coworker L. She's been in quarantine with her family who returned to town from the Lower 48, so we haven't walked in a few weeks. Today we met at Alder, then proceeded to Aspen and the last three Berrys. Drizzly and tons of mosquitoes. But, a pleasant visit.

T worked today (3 days in a row!), busy organizing a training class and a q & a session for the local radio.

H was off to work just as I returned from my walk. He sprung a house-cleaning session on us. Erg. M washed dishes and studied.

About 1pm M and I headed to town. He wanted to take the jeep instead of the manual car, so that's what he drove despite the creaky wheels.

First stop was the boat harbor. Heard that a group was giving out a swag bag, so we stopped to collect one. M decided the neck gaiter (aka mask) was his. Only one per family, which is kinda funny. Guess they expect us to share!

Stopped at Ulla's to drop off a box of donations (mostly clothes he's outgrown). Went inside and looked around, but it was all junk. Trash on the floor, etc. Probably hard to keep it maintained without volunteers.

On to N&N and the hunt for half & half. Bingo! The cashier mumbled something and I smiled and nodded my head and ended up with the senior discount. Eeeek!

Last stop was Kanakanak Beach. Tide was high, but still room on the beach. Saw some set nets. Found a few rocks. Headed home. M is a good driver. Calm, confident and careful.

Not super motivated today, but I did manage to accomplish a few things. Decided today was a good day to put a freeze on my credit. Managed to complete one out of three. Looked over info from the estate law office; they were supposed to do everything, but seems like there are an awful lot of red boxes for tasks we have to complete. Amazing how much time everything takes to do.

Worked outside for a little while. The mosquitoes are thick, so it wasn't a pleasure. Making progress on my project! I think it'll look great when I'm finished. Need some grass seed. Will check Target as their shipping was so prompt last time. Amazon isn't the bees knees anymore.

H came home earlier than usual and grilled steaks. Made potato wedges and salad. Exquisite. Chocolate cake and icecream for dessert. I love St. Boniface Day!

The world has gone crazy. First mandatory 6' separation, now people are encouraged to join crowded demonstrations.

The Virus is now on the backburner.
Except for here.
