Happy Father's Day

outdoor Mass

The first Mass since March 8th was held this morning. Outside of the church, in front of the construction of the new garage. There were a few chairs set up, but mostly everyone stood next to or stayed inside their cars. I stood outside for a few minutes until the homily, when my allergies became so unbearable that I climbed back into the car. Socially distancing Mass. In between families receiving communion, Father would use hand sanitizer. After Mass, several parishioners walked up to one another and shook hands.

It rained off and on all day. C and I went for our daily walk. Neither of us are stiff or sore from yesterday's walk, so we should probably go for extended walks more often!

Although I have quite a bit to do yet on my list, I mostly sat on my bed going through papers, etc. Ordered a tee shirt from the race organizers. Listened to the lads' repartee.

Fresh king melts in the mouth like butter. It's incredibly delicious.

Served at dinner with cranberry banana walnut muffins.
