Windy Day...Full Nets

At work by 9 o'clock. Finished biographies! Finally! Also finished middle school books. More new books came in, so I reconciled those orders. Talked to the ordering department about returning/exchanging a few books. Some for hardcover, others were part of a series and the correct item wasn't purchased, and I ordered too many of a couple. Checked in with the painting crew: they're working in the gym. That's a big job!

Sherri met me at the school and we walked for about five minutes past the oil tanks. Then she sat in the library and visited while I worked. Pleasant way to spend the afternoon!

Painting crew hard at work.

Saw an email from my sister asking if I'd like her Irish sweater. Yes! My younger sister claimed it first. Oh well. She's cleaning out her closet. After 25+ years in the same house, she's rediscovering buried treasures! She sent me her qiviut scarf which just arrived in the mail.

Generous gift!

It's been sunny for the past week. Sunny today, too, but also very windy. King weather, we call it. The wind blows the salmon into the nets. Went for a walk with C. Love the breeze; it's hot out of the wind. Thermometer says 64!

Relaxing after dinner, then off on another walk with C, this time sans doggies. Turning the corner at Pat's, I slipped on gravel and fell. Thankfully okay. Just scraped palms, elbow, knees. Reminder to be thankful for my health!

The flowers are gorgeous!
