I spent the morning cleaning: deadheading plants, washing rocks collected at the beach, laundry, etc. Packed up three boxes to mail home. Took a break and visited my favorite thrift store. Came back to the condo and in a frantic burst of energy, cleaned the fridge. I completely forgot about the school discussion and the Ellis Island talk, two meetings I was planning on attending via zoom.
